Why Hillside

Why Hillside

Hear from families and educators on why they chose to be a part of the Hillside Community.

“Teaching in the Dandelion Classroom is amazing for so many reasons! The children are so compassionate, curious, and have a love for learning that is such a joy to watch!”

-MArissa, toddler teacher

“Really can’t say enough good things about Hillside. We’ve had our 5 month old daughter there (our first kiddo) for a little over 2 months now and it’s been just the best experience for both her and us. It’s incredibly obvious how much everyone there cares and beyond that they are all extremely kind, professional and everything you’d want out of people looking after your little guy or girl. We had to wait a little bit before she could get in but even that process was fair and communicative throughout. We’re excited for her to grow and learn with everyone there for these years to come. While my experience with this is limited, I truly feel like we got lucky finding Hillside.”

-Eric, parent

“What I love about working in my classroom is observing and learning each individual child’s strengths and being a small part in their development to becoming amazing humans. Meal times are my favorite, because it is a great opportunity to connect and educate while children are exploring and getting curious with their senses.”

-Steph, infant and toddler teacher

“My wife and I started sending our son here about 18 months ago and it has been an incredible experience! We are often shocked at how much he has learned! He continues to develop skills beyond his development milestones! The staff is very kind and dedicated to his growth!”

-James, parent

“I love being a floater because I get to explore every classroom! I can learn from many different teachers and get to build connections with kids from all classes. I love to see them grow and seeing them happy always makes my day!”

-Lexi, floater teacher
