About Us

About Us

We value quality early childhood education and have built a community of families and educators that understand how important early learning is in the life of a child.

Our curriculum is centered in play that supports children’s development and learning in all settings both indoors and outside. Play fosters social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

Our values are showcased every day at Hillside through a love of learning, empowerment of children and the nurturing of our community.

On a summer morning
I sat down
on a hillside
to think about God –
a worthy pastime.
Near me, I saw
a single cricket;
it was moving the grains of the hillside
this way and that way.
How great was its energy,
how humble its effort.
Let us hope
it will always be like this,
each of us going on
in our inexplicable ways
building the universe.
